Palazzo Braschi
It's nearly pointless to state Rome has pretty buildings and museums. The eternal city boasts a collection of palaces and historical edifices dating from any period you can think of, up to 2 millenia back.
From 9-17 April, it's free entry to all state museums. Palazzo Braschi in Piazza Navona is one of them. And I have been wanting to check it out.
So what do you get? Massive marble statues and busts at the foyer, bas relief along the stairs, Rome-themed paintings (worth checking out), affresco on the ceiling (Classic Roman style) and a view of Piazza Navona from the windows on the second floor!
